The Davis Cup Quarterfinals are in Elon’s backyard. This year, the defending USA team will face off against France as the tournament returns to Winston-Salem, N.C. France has already faced difficulties, even before the start of the actual quarterfinals. It lost Jo-Wilfried Tsonga due to a knee injury, and recently had to pull Richard Gasquet from the line-up due to blisters.
